One-click trading(12)

Every request is a Solana transaction, and without help each one needs a wallet prompt. One-click trading replaces that prompt with a session key: a keypair generated in your browser that your wallet authorises once.

Turning it on

  1. 01The app generates a keypair in this browser.
  2. 02You sign one transaction. create_session(key, expiry, lamports) records the key and its expiry in your UserAccount and sends 0.01 SOL to the key, so it can pay transaction fees and request rent.
  3. 03From then on, opens and closes from this browser are signed by the session key, without a prompt.

What a session key can do

  • Send request_open and request_close for your account.
  • Cancel your requests.

What it cannot do

  • Withdraw. Only your wallet can move USDC out.
  • Collect claims, claim rewards or donate.
  • Create, extend or revoke sessions.

The worst a stolen session key can do is open and close positions in your account until it expires or you revoke it. That can still lose money, so treat the browser that holds it with care.

Expiry and revocation

  • A session lasts at most 30 days. The program refuses a later expiry.
  • revoke_session() ends it at once. Only your wallet can revoke.
  • SOL left on the key stays on the key. The key is in your browser, so it remains yours.

Where the key lives

The key is stored in this browser's local storage under p100.session.<wallet>, one per wallet. It never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing site data deletes it; the session then stops working in this browser, and your wallet can start a new one. See the cookies policy.
